CHALLENGE

Given the reputation of Intrepid as one of the world’s leading tour operators, we looked overseas for building techniques, materials and inspiration to complete this imaginative and impressive commercial fit-out – all within the confines of a CBD office tower.

Solution

Not many corporate offices can boast a solid oak ping pong table, but that’s emblematic of how this project allowed us to go above and beyond to build unique and distinguished interiors. Just some of the highlights include a cork laser-cut map of the world, a feature French Provincial-styled push bike, an awning in the staff kitchen, tiles from Japan and louvres from Bali. We worked across multiple construction and craft techniques to create a series of spaces to represent the international focus of Intrepid, and to deliver a series of staff communal areas unlike anywhere else.
