Challenge

This project allowed us to work within one of Melbourne’s most established and recognised city pubs. As well as showing consideration for a number of historic elements, the main challenge was completing the internal works while the pub was still operating.

Solution

This project was completed in sections. While we were working on the ground floor, the pub’s main bar and customers moved to the first floor function room. Then, as we remodelled the first floor, the ground floor was reopened to the public. We re-levelled all of the floors, installed a new bar, and built new bathrooms.
