Challenge

This project was to relocate the lower external wall outwards to be in the same line as the façade above.
Isolation of the work area to the swimming pool to maintain the facility climate control
Saving and reusing existing windows and external cladding linings.
Working adjacent swimming pool.

Solution

The area was isolated by installing a temporary barrier wall that sealed the pool area from the outside wall allowing the internal climate to be maintained as normal whilst the wall was demolished and rebuilt.
Demolition of the external wall was completed panel by panel to avoid damage of the existing cladding and windows to allow them to be reused, this reducing project costs.
