Challenge

The site for this project had limited access from within the school, as the project works abutted classrooms and paths. However, there was clear access to the site from adjoining streets.

Solution

Solid ply hoardings were erected to ensure absolutely no interaction with staff and students, Reliance fixed the windows of the neighbouring classrooms so they would only open 125mm, meaning students could not access the site through those windows.

A traffic management plan was developed around timing for deliveries which avoided the peaks of school time.
