Challenge

Reliance was invited to tender this VSBA project and won it via an open tender.

The existing space was acquired by the VSBA from the neighbouring council who had been using it as a car park.

The land ran between 2 streets which allowed ideal access for the commencement of the project, but once the carpark was stripped and levels achieved we had to work our way out of the site using the southern Boundary road.

Solution

The design intent was to allow students to not only enjoy the play space and the amazing equipment but to also be involved in a lot of natural elements including rock steps, native planting and winding paths that doubled as running tracks.
