Challenge

MacKillop provides foster care, family support, alternative education and disability services in NSW, WA, and VIC.

The Caulfield site was at the rear of the school grounds and could only accessed through the playground. The project site also abutted the Catholic Church, which created its own challenges with meeting the needs of the priest.

Solution

Reliance constructed a solid hoarding path of travel to the site, we made sure that the height was not scalable and the material was durable enough to absorb some rough treatment from the building site and from the students.

Communication with a Church throughout the build was key to the projects success. Reliance made sure that our works including noisy activities were respectful of the needs of the church.
