Challenge

This project was a refurbishment of existing space.
There was extensive roof leaks and structural issues found after demolition commenced.
Working in the centre of the school grounds.
Covid 19 rules effected program.

Solution

Collaboration
A site management plan was developed with the school to ensure safe paths of travel for all staff and students.
Amenities where set up with site safety fencing and gates to separate construction from learning.
Barricades and hoarding were erected to ensure safe paths of travel for students and teachers along with ample safe space for construction.
A Covid safe plan was established and monitored during the worst period of the pandemic in 2021.
The design team where contacted regularly to ensure our interpretation of the drawings was as per the design intent.
