Challenge

This project included extensive roof replacement, toilet upgrades and rectification works.
The roof was over 100 years old and a 35degree pitch.
Toilets were in original condition with asbestos located in some of the project areas.
Our work area was in the middle of the school grounds.

Solution

Collaboration
A site management plan was developed with the school to ensure safe paths of travel for all staff and students.
Fall protection and harness points contributed to ensuring site safety.
Fortunately the grounds had multiple toilet blocks which allowed Reliance to undertake the required works on the staff and student amenities without having a large inconvenience or disruption.
