Challenge

This project involved the removal of existing non-compliant claddings on the external façade of an existing building. There was reduced access and remaining compliant surfaces that we had to work with. Reliance where asked to provide comment on compliant alternative materials.

Solution

Specialized access equipment was used for removal and replacement of panelling. Delivery of materials was programmed in with the client and an adjoining construction site. All glazing panels that where part of our design complied with the relevant standards and passed water pressure testing. All other cladding materials meet the required ratings.
