Challenge

With a new school year approaching, Taylors Lakes Primary School needed to provide classroom access for a new student who used a wheelchair. Limited space for construction proved to be a significant challenge.

Solution

We worked over the Christmas holiday period to design and completely install the ramp, ensuring reduced disruption for students and staff. Our experience working with ramps means we were able to easily apply our knowledge of compliance for elements such as angle, handrails and tactile ground indicators. The ramp was finished with timber around the base.
